How do I set up my background?
The setup of a Scenic Background is simple! With the recommended 3M hooks, all you need are two small, sturdy spots in which to attach the double sided sticky tape that holds the hooks in place. Scenic Backgrounds come with small grommet holes along the top to help you with positioning. Simply apply the hooks to the surface (a wall, door, counter, mantel, ect.) as high as you want the top of the background to be, and place the grommet holes on the hooks. It’s that simple. The 3M hooks leave no residue and will not harm paint or finish on your walls or wood. It is the perfect choice to setup anywhere!
Can I ship my background back using UPS or Fed Ex?
Currently we only offer shipping through UPS.
You may ship the background back using the U.S. Post
Office or Fed Ex at your own expense. However, it must arrive on the due date required and arrive in
good condition. Backgrounds not returned in the supplied shipping bag are subject to additional fees.
How will I know my return was delivered?
Return packages are logged into our system each business day at 5:00 p.m. (EST). The next business day, you will receive an e-mail confirming we have received your return.
What happens if my return arrives damaged?
We will review the package to determine whether the damage was caused in shipping. This is why it is important to use the original return bag we supply with each order. You are not liable for damages caused to an item while in transit.
What happens if my return arrives late, but I sent it on time?
We are not responsible for delays caused by UPS. Your return label provides a date that you should
drop the package off at any UPS Store or Drop Box. We allot one day transit delays when figuring out
these dates. If you follow these dates listed, issues are very unlikely to arise.

How are late fees figured?
Late fees are charged at a rate of $5.00 per day, per background rental, regardless of which size background is rented. If the background is not returned within 14 days after the due date, you will be automatically charged the full amount. This cost is $119.99 for a 5’ x 6’ background and $149.99 for a 6’ x 8’ background. At this point, you own the background.
